Patchnote v1.1:
Features:
- A hint is not displayed on the "Game Over" screen to tell the player why they died, making it less unfair and more of a learning experience.
- The monster will now spawn further from the player when chased, mainly to not be as jarring while still scary.
- A "How to play" section has been added to the main menu, that in more detail defines what you are supposed to do.
- Graphical options have been added, "Medium" and "Low" can now be selected to allow more people to play the game.
Balancing:
- The main room can no longer be "captured" by the monster if all doors leading to it are closed. Instead, you are stuck and have to wait for the power to reach 0%.
- When the power is out, the monster will no longer spawn instantly, it will instead wait a few seconds. This both gives the player a little more time to win, and also makes it creepier.
Bug fixes:
We have found a few bugs, but I don't have time to fix them today. Please comment if any bugs occur for you. These are the bugs we have acknowledged but not yet fixed:
- The door to Generator 6 is difficult to close
- Doors may be hard to close
- Generators sometimes show "Repair by holding" even when broken.
