Version 1.1


The game has been updated to fix several major (and minor) bugs found in the game since the Ludum Dare submission. We also made some quality of life changes, which we felt let the game down or we didn't have time to include before submission. If you are reviewing us for Ludum Dare, take note of the changes, or play the old version to be fair on those who don't update their game post submission. Changes made in this version:

  • Fixed the wizard teleporting after his dialogue.
  • The wolf and mole tutorials will no longer repeat themselves on every replay.
  • Fixed the ending not actually being played upon reaching the end, rendering the game uncompletable.
  • The fading effect has been improved to introduce less sorting issues.
  • Removed the ability to pause, since it could break the game if used during the wrong time.
  • Improved the overall sorting of sprites.
  • Added sounds for the wizards teleport and cage spawning/despawning.
  • The wolf hitbox is bigger from user feedback.
  • Doubled the amount of chord progressions to introduce more variety.
  • The wizard now has a different progression every time, increasing difficulty and variety.
  • Made wave 3 more fair upon restarting.
  • Limited the players lute playing speed to prevent playing too many sounds at once.
  • Fixed the branch burning sound triggering several times.
  • Fixed the wolf being able to grab burning sticks.
  • Shorter timers between waves to improve gameplay flow.
  • Fixed multiple issues with the tutorial and saving system.
